Volunteer
Each year, more than 400 dedicated volunteers throughout our territory give their time and talents to make magic happen.

You can help make the wishes of special children come true in your local community when you become a volunteer for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Mid-Atlantic, Inc. Our volunteers range in age from 18 to 84 and include men and women who live and work in the areas we serve. Time commitments can be as little as a few hours a month.

Benefits of becoming a volunteer:

  • Building a better future for your community
  • Meeting new people and making new friends
  • Feeling good about yourself
  • Setting an example for your own children
  • Doing something meaningful in your spare time
  • Learning new skills
