To raise awareness and funds for Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic’s efforts to serve local children. It is estimated that 840 children in DC, Maryland and northern Virginia will be diagnosed with a critical illness each year. For each wish granted, at least one more local child is waiting for their wish. Make-A-Wish relies on community support to grant wishes, and help close the gap between children who are eligible for a wish and those who receive one.
Registration is free, but walkers are encouraged to fundraise or donate leading up to the event. For more information or to register, please visit www.WalkForWishesBalitmore.org
