We are delighted that you want to join us in our mission of granting wishes to children in the Mid-Atlantic area!
Here is the process for becoming a volunteer with us:
1. Complete and send in your Volunteer Application and two references.
2. The volunteer coordinator will contact you to schedule a phone interview.
3. Apply for your background check (cost is $30), if applicable.
4. Sign annual COI/Ethics statement.
5. Participate in a specialized training session for your role. (For wish-granting volunteers, these are held 2-3 times per year.)Upcoming wish-granting training sessions:

Internships
Internships provide college students with hands-on learning opportunities. Students interested in a career in the non-profit sector will find a wealth of experience by working with the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of the Mid-Atlantic. Internships are available in accounting, fundraising/development, public relations/communications, volunteer management, program services and graphic design. Interns will receive training and feedback throughout the course of the internship. (Please note: not all internships available in all offices).
