Six-year-old William comes from a loving and tight-knit family in Colora, MD. William enjoys building with Legos, playing with trucks and watching the television show Paw Patrol. His favorite activity, however, is playing with his family’s one-year-old English bulldog, Chase. He adores English bulldogs and even keeps photos and calendars with pictures of the bulldogs in his bedroom. When William was diagnosed with leukemia, his family dog, Chase, helped to comfort him during treatment. So when William found out that Make-A-Wish®
Mid-Atlantic would be granting his one-true-wish, he couldn’t wait to have his very own English bulldog puppy!
William was overjoyed to be receiving his own puppy. William loves all animals and couldn’t wait to have another dog in the house. Upon receiving his new furry friend, William decided to name her Molly! He loved cuddling and playing with Molly. William’s parents and older sister were also able to be a part of Molly’s welcome to her new home. Granting wishes like William’s gives children with life-threatening medical conditions something to look forward to aside from doctor’s appointments and treatments and enriches the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
