Coty's Wish Comes True

At first, ten-year-old Coty couldn't decide his wish. It took him awhile to decide between meeting members of his favorite football team - the Tennessee Titans or getting a large television for his room with PlayStation 2 and lots of video games. Coty decided to meet members of the Titans and plans were in the works for Coty to take a journey to Nashville to meet the team. Unfortunately, Coty's medical treatments prevented him from traveling to Tennessee for his wish. Coty was given the choice to wait until next season to meet the Titans or have his alternate wish - a television and video games. After much thought, he decided to get the television and video games. He figured that a year was a long time to wait.

Coty's wish was fulfilled when Make-A-Wish Foundation® volunteers delivered a large television, a PlayStation and lots of games to his house. He was so excited. Coty was also given lots of Tennessee Titan souvenirs and an unmarked videocassette. He popped the videocassette in his VCR and there speaking directly to him were members of the Titans wishing him well with his fight against his life-threatening illness. "Coty, I hope you are feeling better," said Titans' running back Eddie George. "Get well soon....We're thinking about you." Quarterback Steve McNair added "I hope you get well soon. Sorry you couldn't make it to the game." About ten members of the team, including all of Coty's favorite players were included a message on the video. It is an understatement to say that Coty loves his new television and video games and he is more of a Titans fan than ever. As you can imagine, whenever he plays his football video game - he always plays the Tennessee Titans.
