As a whole, the board determines the chapter's mission and vision. It selects, evaluates and supports the president and chief executive officer. The board also protects the chapter’s assets, enhances its public standing, ensures accountability, maintains legal integrity and assesses its own performance.
Our staff lives the Make-A-Wish values in the pursuit of granting wishes. Every staff member fulfills a vital role in our mission and brings life to one of the world’s most beloved children’s charities.
Our Medical Advisory Council is comprised of medical professionals that act as ambassadors for Make-A-Wish in the healthcare industry and provide clarity to medical teams on the eligibility criteria for referring a child.
Our Advisory Council is comprised of leaders in the Mid-Atlantic community who embrace and promote the Make-A-Wish mission.
The Community Leadership Council is a group of motivated and dedicated young professionals who are inspired to fundraise and raise awareness on behalf of Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic.
